24 days ago I went for a nude massage, there was no sex or oral sex just the lady touching me. Around 10 days ago I develop some sort of rash in my inner thighs. I went to see a doctor and he recommended a cream. He said it was cause by sweat and didn't look serious. I went to another doctor today because the cream provided was making it more itchy and he said it looks like fungus, he said it is unlikely it would be herpes but if it doesn't go away after a week come and see him again. That made me worry and he said in his opinion is unlikely, he also said I should not have sex with my wife which also caused concern for me. I assume I am over reacting but would there be a test I could do a this stage just for piece of mind?

I see absolutely no risk for herpes if there was no intercourse or oral sex. None. Many of us (myself included) get a massage from time to time and most of us do it without clothing and we don't get herpes from this kind of encounter. Now in your case, it could be that there is sexual contact involving masturbation, you didn't really say, but if that is all there was, that is not a risk for acquiring herpes at all either.

Just looking at the query I can see it was not clear. It was an erotic massage, she and I were naked. She masturbated me. As far as I can recall there was no touching of her genitals with mine.

Dear Terry
Not sure if I am entitle to a further query but if not possible I will open a new thread.
I go for an erotic massage probably twice a year. I never request oral sex or any form of intercourse just a hand job and a massage while the lady is nude. Would you think this is something I could safely resume or would you recommend not doing it do to a possibility of getting something?
My concern was with the inner thigh rash which seems coincidental to my visit to the massage hence why I was panicking but I think it was just a coincidence.

Could the inner thigh rash to a reaction to some kind of lotion that was used for the massage? If it is itchy and red, you might consider jock itch as a cause or see your regular health care provider for an evaluation. But someone just masturbating you in combination with a massage is not a risk for an STD, no.
