[Question #7254] Thai massage with happy ending? is it SAFE?

Dear Doctor!
I usually go to thai massage where sometimes i got a happy ending ( hand job with oil) , there is no other thing like kissing or other things .
My worries:
- if there is some semen left or other fluids on his hand from the previous customer
- they usually use some wet small towel to clean my penis i hope they change it but what if there is some semen left from under customer
Are there any risk from these thing? Any STD risk? HIV?
Can i have sex without risk with my wife?
Is it safe to get happy endings ?

Welcome to the forum. Thank you for your question.
There is never risk of HIV or any STD from hand-genital contact. In theory, there could be risk of those STDs transmitted primarily by skin-to-skin contact (herpes, syphilis, HPV) if genital fluids are used for lubrication. But even this is exceedingly rare if it occurs at all. There is probably no risk at all for STDs transmitted by fluids, such as gonorrhea, chlamydia, HIV, and certain others). There have been no scientifically reliable reports of ANY STD transmitted by hand-genital contact. And certainly there is no risk via left over semen from prior massage clients, towels, etc. "Happy endings" (masturbation by massage providers) are entirely safe from an STD/HIV standpoint and it is safe for you to continue sex with your wife.
I hope these comments are helpful. Let me know if anything isn't clear.

Dear Doctor!
Thank you for your answer, so do you think i can continue this kind of massage, for me it isnt a guilty things because i like it for the massage itself and the handjob is only an extra sometimes no erotic feeling for me is only a helthy thing not a sexual thing .
My only worries to be on the safe part because we are trying to become family with a baby. I got a complet test in this year in february.
So if only go for massage and get a happy endig is it safe, i usually check the hand and they use oil, my only concern the towels they use, maybe i aks them to use paper towel?
Thank you for your anwer

While I understand your heightened concern as you and your wife seek conception, that has ntohing to do with how risky the exposure was or was not. These additional comments do not change my opinions and advice above, and I see no reason for you to make any suggestions to your massage servers about their technique. There's no reason to use paper as opposed to cloth towel.---
