I went to a massage parlor 3 weeks ago.  I got a massage. I was naked. The masseuse was not. She rubbed me in my butt crack and testicles and gave me a handjob.  3 weeks later I got a  burning red line.. between where my thigh meets my testicles. It is a red mark.. like  a burn. It stings when water hits it. I  went to the urgent care because I had also developed a sinus infection. I also have had frequent urination and feeling I need to pee not long after I already peed. The doctor check my urine .. It had a  little  blood in the urine. He gave me a shot of rocephin and 10 days of Doxycycline.  I started taking this. I am so worried that the place in my groin might be syphilis.       I have had a strained abductor muscle from a sports injury. I have been icing it for 2 weeks.. I am not sure maybe the ice burned that area  or could it by any chance be syphilis??

Welcome to our Forum and thanks for your question.  Receipt of masturbation is a no risk event for all STIs, including syphilis.  The area of irritation you describe is not syphilis!  I say this with complete confidence.  In nearly 40 years of STI-focused practice I have never seen nor heard of a persons who acquired syphilis from hand to genital contact.  More importantly, the description you provide sounds nothing like syphilis.  It does sound like local irritation or perhaps a fungal infection. Fungal infections in the area you describe are quite common and can be worsened with receipt of antibiotics such as Rocephin or doxycycline.  If I were going to treat this with anything, I would recommend an over-the-counter anti-fungal cream and that you work to keep the area clean and dry.

thanks for your answer. I think I have a lot of guilt over going to the massage place. I also have anxiety. I just wanted to be certain I could forget syphilis. It scares me.  I want to forget the experience and quit worrying over syphilis.  I am wondering if the place could be where I have been icing it for 2 weeks. I know a few times I left the ice pack on with a thin cloth and when I took it off my skin was freezing and red.. little blotchy. 

As I said, there is no risk for any STI, including syphilis.  FYI, even if you had syphilis, 10 days of doxycycline (which you almost certainly did not need) would cure syphilis even in present (which again, I am confident is not the case).

The icing might have added to the irritation if you did not dry the area.  A fungal infection remains your best bet. EWH
