Welcome back to the Forum. Dr. Handsfield and I share the Forum and on this occasion I happened to pick up your follow-up question. We share the Forum because we've worked together for nearly 40 years and while our verbal styles vary somewhat, we agree on the scientific facts and advice that we provide in every cases. In preparing to rely to this most recent question I did review your earlier interaction with Dr. Handsfield.
When a person acquired genital warts, they typically take 2-6 months to develop (three months, on average). Newly acquired warts to appear before two months has occurred is virtually unheard of. similarly, if 6 months has passed since an exposure, visible warts will not develop.
I hope that this addresses your question. I urge you not to continue to worry about your past no risk encounters. EWH
