Hello Doctor HHH,
I decided to pay for a new thread just for:
Thanking you for taking the time to answer my thread even during new year's eve.
Letting you know I decided to act on your recommendation and got an antigen covid test earlier today, which came back as positive, same for my sister. Pretty sure my cousin and her husband, dad and now little daughter will test positive too.
Still I took the initiative to test, and I can at least take steps to protect my grandmother, will self isolate asap. Btw, I am 27yo in general good shape, so I am pretty sure I will be fine myself, as all symptoms have mostly disappear by now.
Thanks and have a happy new year.

Welcome back to the forum. As I suspect you know, Dr. Handsfield and I share the forum and, on this occasion I happened to pick up your most recent thread. I Will make sure that Dr. Handsfield is aware of your test results and know that you are glad that you got tested. Quarantining yourself and having your grandmother avoid all contact with potentially infected family members is an important part of efforts to keep her from getting infected. Should she developed any symptoms whatsoever, I would have a low threshold for encouraging her to have a test as well.
Take care. I know that you come out like so many of us, will be glad to have 2020 behind you. EWH---
