This will be my 3rd reply. Although we typically provide three replies to each set of questions, I will provide one more after this reply.
A problem with the internet is that it is often misleading. It lists many different things which can occasionally be caused by HIV and tends to alarm people unnecessarily.
The symptoms you describe are non-specific and could be caused by many different things. Being able to feel lymph nodes is normal if you look for them and when they are abnormally swollen that can be caused by many different things. Similarly, chronic or recurrent tonsillitis is not a sign of HIV. I would not be worried about these things as being signs of HIV. Really. EWH

Final answers. Once a person is infected with HIV-2, just as occurs with HIV-1, their tests will become positive in 6-8 weeks depending on the test and then remain positive throughout. The window for HIV-2 tests is the same as for HIV-1.
Recurring tongue ulcers, often called aphous ulcers, are not a sign of HIV infection.
Hope this helps. Please don't worry. EWH
