[Question #7625] Transmission from case 1 or case 2

Potential case of transmission of hvs1 #1: Not direct contact such as kissing but being spat at. The person who spit was on herpes treatment. Acne in the face but not so frequently around the mouth and have had a past with acne before. Took testing checking for virus infections and wellness check test nothing referring about having HSV1 showed. (I know that to test for herpes IgG test must be done but don’t know if in other medical test it can be shown not necessarily specifically testing for STD’s).
Potential case of transmission of hvs1 #2:
Direct contact (kissing). Worsening sore throat and fever after 3 days of exposure. Frequent acne around the mouth. Cold sore inside the mouth. Did IgG 6 days after exposure high 58.00.
My question: From which is most likely to get exposure of hsv1?

Being spat upon is not a risk for herpes at all. There just isn't the right kind of contact for the right amount of virus or the right volume of virus. Simply not a risk
So are you saying that you DID have a test for HSV 1 at some point and it was negative? I'm confused by what you said about that. Can you clarify for me? How long passed between testing negative (if that is the case) and testing positive at 58?
However, case # 2 . With an index value of 58, you have a very well established case of HSV 1. You would not achieve an index value of 58 six days after an exposure - you've had this a while (as does 47% of the population).
