Negative fourth generation HIV test after 59/60 days after exposure is conclusive. I have done 4 HIV text in the course of two months and all are negative. Do I need to retest? I'm getting of anxiety because I keep hearing about the 3 months period. Can you please help?

Welcome back to the forum, but I don't understand why you found it necessary. The answers are clear from Dr. Hook's replies to your other questions a few days ago. As he told you, 3 months is old news, dating back to earlier kinds of HIV tests no longer in use. Some agencies and many printed and online materials still say 3 months, either because they just never got around to changing their advice or, in some cases, taking a hyper-conservative stance. But your negative results so far are 100% conclusive and you do not need any more testing, at 3 months or any other time.

Best regards--   HHH
