[Question #7888] massage parlor

This past week I went to a massage parlor three times. I am now worried about STD’s.

My first encounter I got a massage and handjob. I asked her if  I could rim her anus. I did for around 1 minute. It was dry and no insertion of tongue into anus.

The second trip I got a blowjob with a condom, but at one point she did suck on my testicle briefly.

The third trip was just a handjob and I played with her nipples and fingered her.    Am I at risk for any STD’s ?         I am little worried. I am married.

Thanks

Welcome back to the forum and thanks for your continued confidence in our services. However, you asked a similar question which Dr. Hook answered a few months ago. As he said, massage and hand-genital contact are risk free. The hand-genital contact, fingering, oral sex with condom, mouth on testicle , and contact with breasts or nipples are zero risk for HIV and all STD.

So the brief rimming episode is the only event that might carry some risk, but only a little bit. The main risk is for intestinal infections your massage partner might have had. The risk of HIV is zero or close to it -- there has never been a case known to be acquired by oral-anal contact. The risk of other STDs also is too low to need testing. I advise against testing, and you can safely continue sex with your wife without worry.

I hope these comments are helpful. Let me know if anything isn't clear.

Thanks for your help.   How could HIV be a risk in rimming?          what scenario?     When I did it. It was superficial with no blood, or liquid of any type,

First, oral exposure to HIV is always low risk; even swallowing infected blood usually doesn't transmit the virus. For rimming, there probably would have to be blood, an open anal wound, or an infection with pus or other discharge. Even with these, it would be very low risk. You can and should consider the rimming you describe as zero risk.---

Since these exposures I have had frequent urination. I also have had little sore throat.   Is there any chance that when she pulled the condom off and finished with her hand some of her saliva could have gotten into my uretha. I was worried about Gonorreah  or Chlaymida or NGU.  Could the anal rimming cause Gonorreah?

Certainly frequent urination can have nothing to do with any infection from the event described -- and anyway, that's not a symptom of any STD. A "little sore throat"? Of course the main cause of minor sore throat is a cold or similar virus -- which conceivably you could have caught from your massage partner. But otherwise this also is unrelated to that event. Both these symptoms are most consistent with anxiety about the event, not an infection of any kind.

As I said, hand-genital contact never results in STDs, and that includes exposure that involve genital fluids or saliva as lubrication. Still no risk. Avoid the temptation to overthink all this:  there is no way you have any STD from the events described.

That concludes this thread. Please note the forum policy against repeated questions on the same topic. This will have to be your last one that concerns STD or HIV risk on account of any exposures that do not involve insertive sex, i.e. your penis in another person's vagina, rectum, or mouth. Such repeat questions are subject to deletion without reply, and without refund of the posting fee. Thank you for your understanding!
