Hi
I gave and received unprotected oral from a csw. 2 weeks later had sex with wife which was protected apart from a quick insertion at first before i put condom on. I did give her oral too. few days later she has symptoms or burning wee and possibly a bit of blood when wiping.
I have had no symptoms at all.
I know odds are low in all these scenarios but how likely is it i have it and passed it on
Could i pass it on from only a quick insertion
She thinks its a uti and has had uti in past-had her symptoms for around 5 days now. Did get better a bit then came back.
Can’t believe i have risked my family
I have tested awaiting results.

Welcome to the Forum.  Thanks for your question.  The exposure you describe was low but not no risk.  Most commercial sex workers do not have oral Gonorrhea, when they do, the infection is usually not transmitted by a single exposure, and if you had acquired Gonorrhea you most probably would have developed symptoms ( over 90% of men who acquire Gonorrhea experience burning on urination or a penile discharge.  Further, the brevity of your exposure to your wife also reduces your risk of having been infected.  Putting all this together, I anticipate that your tests will be negative.  In addition, since most Gonorrhea in women is asymptomatic, chances are that her symptoms are due to something else.

I hope this perspective is helpful.  You did the right thing to get tested.  When your test results come back and are negative, I hope you will move forward without further concerns.  EWH
