Hello again dear doctors,
Unfortunately i made another mistake. Last night i was with a CSW again . We had normal sex protected 4 times and oral ( felatio) sex protected 4 times. No other sexual acts. What are my chances of getting an infection. Do I need to test for something?
 Thank you!

Welcome back to the Forum.  Thanks for your question.  As I mentioned in our earlier exchanges, most commercial sex workers do not have STIs.  Even if your partner did have STIs, condoms are highly effective for preventing STIs if exposed.  As long as you wore a condom throughout your sex acts and the condom did not fail, you were protected and do not need testing.

Regarding condom failure, FYI, condoms do fail about 1% of the time they are used.  When they do, they break wide open leaving no doubt that they failed., There is no need to test condoms are use to make sure they did not fail.

I hope that this information is helpful to you.  If there are further questions, please don't hesitate to use your up to two follow-ups for clarification. EWH

Thank you for your response.
The condoms did not fail . I changed them after evry sex acts.
1. Plese be so kind to tell me is syphilis a concern in this situation ? I understand it can be aquired even with condoms.
2. What kind of STI could be aquired even if I wored condoms for every act ?
3. For Gonorrhea and Chlamydia must be direct contact with the vaginas ( unprotected contact)
4. What about genital herpes is this a big threat
5. Regarding HIV, HEP B and C is condom highly efective ?
So your sincere advice is to not get tested?
I did the same mistake in 8 month and i am not capable to start again with tests anxiety slepless nights an so on.
Thank you in advance

Sigh

1. Plese be so kind to tell me is syphilis a concern in this situation ? I understand it can be aquired even with condoms.
The risk for acquisition of syphilis through condom protected sex is very, very low.  Syphilis, like genital herpes and HPV are transmitted through direct, unprotected contact with an infected site.  Condoms cover the majority of the genitalia and therefore reduce the risk of acquisition greatly although there is still a tiny, largely theoretical risk of acquiring one of these STIs despite wearing a condom.

2. What kind of STI could be aquired even if I wored condoms for every act ?
See above

3. For Gonorrhea and Chlamydia must be direct contact with the vaginas ( unprotected contact)
Yes

4. What about genital herpes is this a big threat
No

5. Regarding HIV, HEP B and C is condom highly efective ?
Hepatitis C is not a sexually acquired infection except, very rarely as the result of receptive rectal intercourse.  Condoms are highly protective against HIV and hepatitis B.

So your sincere advice is to not get tested?
Correct.

Hello again and thank you for your response
Please be so kind to answer me the following:
1. Wven I wore condoms for every act my question is what are the symptomps of gonorhae and chlamydia and after how much time they appear?
if i will take an urine test ( I think NAAT)when can I take it ( How long after exposure)? and an urine test is sufficient for both ?
2. Is Trichomonas or Mycoplasma a threat in this situation?
3. Even you said i do not need any test if I want to take tests for HIV, Syphils and Hep B how soon can I taxe those tests
Regarding HPV I know from previous threat but in previous threat you mention single exposure and now i had 4 exposure with the same CSW. Does this elevate the risk?  but for genital herpes what are the chances?
Final thoughts from you : What are the chances to catch an STI ( in percentage)if  you could provide me such thing.

I will take also psyhological counseling because my anxiety and fear are overwhelming.
Thank you very much dear doctor and I hope everything will be ok and this will be my last time on this forum! God help!

Please be so kind to answer one more question. What kind of ITS can be transmitted by kissing or french kiss? Thank you very much for your enormous help in the last 8 month.

Final responses:

1.  Wearing a condom for every act makes the likelihood that you acquired in the STI very, very low. The symptoms of gonorrhea or chlamydia, if you had acquired them would be burning on urination or a discharge from your penis. Typically the symptoms would appear sometime between three and seven days following the exposure.

2.  No, not with condom protected sex.

3.   If you choose to be tested for Syphilis, hepatitis B, or HIV results would be conclusive for each of these tests six weeks following your exposure.

4.  No STI’s are transmitted through kissing, including French kissing with exchange of secretions.

Obviously, repeated exposure slightly increase the risk for acquisition of STI’s such as HPV. That said, it is unlikely that you acquired HPV or herpes from the exposure that you describe. I would estimate the chances are more than 99% that you did not require an STI from the exposure as you described.

This completes this thread. I believe you are being more anxious over this exposure than is necessary. Take care. EWH
