[Question #797] Purple/Brown patch appeared - Update to question #752

Hello again Dr. :)

This is an update to question #752.

So it seems 22 days after the previously described incident, a purple/brown patch appeared near my wrist.

I searched also for swollen lymph nodes around my neck and armpits but did not find any. I also feel fine and no other symptoms are present.

Could this be a coincedence ? I know you said that i shouldnt be worried but you know how it is. Anxiety is getting the best of me.

As a side note, i do not remember hitting my wrist anywhere, i am not sure if my little kid bit me there but i do not remember such incident.

Is this a common symptom ? Should i do anything ?

Welcome back to the Forum. The lesion you describe is not at all suggestive of any STI and is at best coincidental and unrelated to the virtually no risk events you described in your earlier question. I would not worry about it being related to your exposure to the masseuse.
