[Question #7985] Possible brief exposure

I was in a pool intoxicated 14 days ago. A female approached me and pulled out my penis and started masturbating me. The pool was heavily chlorinated. Then suddenly I felt as if she was sliding my penis into her bikini bottom - absolutely no penetration but I moved away immediately. Im terrified that this might havw been direct skin contact but if so would not have been more than 1 second. She also put her mouth over my penis for less than 1 second (because she could not hold her breath), but this is someone who I have done deep kissing with in the past and in any case I have had cold sores on my lip as a child.
I know a friend who was with her for years and they recently split and neither have herpes. I also saw her vagina briefly later that night and she had no sores (she was sleeping in a see through nighty).
I also called the girl and she insists that we made no genital contact and her bikini bottom was on the entire time but I dont really believe her.
Im really scared because I have a girlfriend and I dont want to give her anything because of my stupidity.
Im panicking, havent eaten or slept in days
How can I proceed?
My issue with the igg test is that I have had unprotected partners before so who says I dont already have it?
Is my risk low enough and given the 14 days have passed without symptoms that I am fine?
My girlfriend is abroad and I wont see her for weeks.
Quantify my risk and advice me how to proceed

Sorry, I answer the herpes questions on this forum. You'll have to make do with me
The experience that you describe has zero risk of transmission of HSV, in my opinion. Herpes takes more than a casual contact such as the one you describe. The fact that you've had cold sores in your history virtually removes the risk from the one second of oral contact.
There was no penetration as you describe the experience and I really think that you can safely eat again with no worries that you will infect your partner, at least not from this experience. I have no idea about your herpes status prior to this encounter, however.

Ok thank you sooooo much
... does it change if I felt a little contact for one second? I really did move immediately as I felt what was happening

And Im assuming its 1 second simply because I stopped it wen i felt it...could have been a wee bit more but you get the idea

A one second contact of the kind you describe is just not a risk for herpes. Also, yes, the chlorine in the pool is helpful as well. I really think you can put this worry to bed.

One last thing
The cold sores as a child may have just been pimples but as I said I have had sessions of deep kissing her before in the past and dozens of people so Im sure Ive been exposed to hsv1 in the past even if she had it. So same assessment correct?
