[Question #799] Breast Exposure

Hello
I was wondering if there is anything to worry about with penis to breast exposure. I went to a massage place and had done a bit where my penis was exposed to the massuse's breast. I had visited my local std clinic and the doctor stated there was nothing to worry about at all and he also stated that since I had gardasil I was covered from that anyway.
I wanted to ask the experts here your thoughts if I have anything to worry about. Also her breasts were not large so I also doubt a lot of action was happening there from others. I do realize I have anxiety when it comes to this but do appreciate your assistance. Thank you.

Welcome to our forum. We receive many questions regarding the potential infectivity of contact with partners' breasts. For adults, direct contact with a partner's breast is a virtually no risk event. This includes oral contact with the nipple, and the very uncommon possibility of ingestion of breast secretions, something that is very rare but that many clients worry about (such as you might encounter in a lactating women). Certainly there is no risk whatsoever for gonorrhea, chlamydia, HIV, or any form of hepatitis. If a woman had a visible breast lesion due to syphilis, then theoretically acquisition might occur. That said, I have only seen a single breast lesion due to syphilis and have never seen active herpes lesions on the breast of any patient in nearly 40 years of STI focused practice. Bottom line, what you have described is a no risk event with no reason for concern or for testing of any sort. EWH---

Thanks Doctor Hook. So no need to worry about Syphillis right?
I did look at her breast before and did not see anything that popped out at me. I assume a syphillis lesion would be noticeable.

No I would not be at all worried about syphilis risk. A syphilis lesion would be easily detected. EWH
