Dear doctor good day,
On 7th june i had met one prostitute. First she spitted on my penis opening directly… I saw spit went inside into my penis. After that I asked her to put condom, she sucked my penis, it was deep throat sucking. After ejaculation i saw some semen came out from the opening of the condom. I guess condom has ruptured while deep throat sucking.

1. After this act immediately i started feeling weakness, fatigue, body feeling hot specially stomach and forehead particularly in the day time till now feeling. And after week i started feeling back aches, sore throat, dry cough, chills and night sweats, stomach rumbling chills for one week only and night sweats and back aches and stomach rumbling still now
. For sore throat i am having antibiotics after it subsided now. Actually these are the symptoms which i had when i got covid last year, that’s why I am worried i might have virus. I got tested for covid and it came back negative.

2. After one week i did CBC, TLC i had 12.1, lymphocytes 19.4.

3. As i am staying in a country where for visa renewal i have to go for pre screening tests. I am really worried, depressed and anxious. Due to the traveling restrictions i cannot go to my home country also.

Is there any chance of getting me STI`S or HIV. What do you think about my symptoms. I really scared because i have this hot body in the day (on and off), body ache and bight sweats.

Waiting for your reply. Apologies for my English writing.

Welcome to our Forum and thanks for your questions.  I'll be glad to comment.  I'm sorry to hear of your condom mishap.  Even so, receipt of even totally unprotected oral sex is a very low risk event. There are no proven cases in which someone has acquired HIV from receipt of unprotected oral sex and acquisition of other STIs is relatively low.  In reply to your specific questions:

1.  The immediate onset of your flu-like symptoms is too early to be due to any STI, including HIV.  When persons develop flu-like symptoms soon following acquisition of infection, symptoms NEVER occur in the first few days and typically have their onset about two days following infection.

2.  Your CBC was unnecessary and does not suggest any STI, including HIV.

3.  I am confident you did not acquire HIV from the exposure you describe.  There is a very small chance that you could have acquired gonorrhea however gonorrhea typically causes obvious penile burning and discharge by3-5 days following exposure.  Since you do not report such symptoms, I have no concern that you acquired any STI following the event you describe above.

I hope this information is helpful and reassuring.  I urge you not to worry further. EWH

Thank you doctor for your reply.
1. Feeling hot body and weekness started from day one of which still feel hot body particularly in the morning and daytime (on and off)

2. After one week started chills, night sweats, sore throat, stomach rumbling, and back ache., of which back ache and stomach rumbling still continues from 2nd week.

3. In August i am going to my home country to be with my wife and kids. I am very depressed and anxious.

4. Ongoing symptoms back ache, stomach rumbling and feeling hot body in the morning and daytime (on and off). Still not any signs of any rashes.

Kindly suggest if i need to do any tests or i can continue sexual relationship?

As I said earlier, "I am confident you did not acquire HIV from the exposure you describe.  There is a very small chance that you could have acquired gonorrhea however gonorrhea typically causes obvious penile burning and discharge by3-5 days following exposure.  Since you do not report such symptoms, I have no concern that you acquired any STI following the event you describe above."  Repeating the question will not change the answer.  If you need to prove to yourself that you do not have HIV or gonorrhea, you could test to prove to yourself that you are not infected.  If your symptoms were due to these infections, the tests would be positive.

I suggest you look for other causes of your symptoms.  Anxiety may be heightening your perception of symptoms which you would otherwise overlook.  EWH
