[Question #8176] NGU-like symptoms since Feb- due to GHSV1?

Hi, so I've written here a few times as I was freaking out thinking I had everything, but I don't. However, I am positive for HSV1. I didn't think this was a big deal as sometimes I'll get a sore on my tongue or roof of my mouth and it isnt' all too irritating., and I get sore gums too. But recently I got thinking wondering if it could actually be GHSV-1 in my genitals, and not mouth. I had unprotected oral sex on 12/20/20 and unprotected PIV on 12/27 and 1/6. I went through a very stressful period in my life in the middle of Feb and suddenly these symptoms appeared on 2/22:

-crawling sensation in the penis/penile irritation
-cold or raw feeling on the head, and sometimes a feeling like the foreskin is being retracted
-wet spot feeling on the penis, like it's always moist in my underwear
-discomfort after ejaculation, but very rarely i.e. 3 times in the past 2 months
-ache that will come and go in my pelvis
-some dribbling after peeing
-tingling around scrotum
-feeling like my left testicle moves when i exhale a deep breath

I think that's it. Sometimes I'll see a moisture in my urethral opening, I don't really know if it's discharge as it isn't constant and doesn't smell at all. Most things have actually dropped off the past few days since I've de-stressed. Things will come and go and seem transient and like they appear with stress, but I can't help but wonder if my unprotected oral on 12/20 may have given me GHSV1. I only have ever had one test for hsv1 and it was in March so after my encounter, so I'm not sure if I had it beforehand. I think so as i've gotten slight sores in my mouth for years. But I have no real pain while urinating and no lesions or sores on my penis or around the genitals. I do have jock itch but I've had that for years. I thought my symptoms since 2/22 were due to stress which seems like it lines up, but I wanted to see if this was something to worry about. Is there any medication I should take, or will it potentially just go away on its own? Thank you

Some info I forgot to mention: I also had a weird episode of balanitis on 2/27. I was a few days into a doxy course at the time as I was being treated empirically. A CT scan on 2/22 also revealed nothing remarkable at all, especially in the pelvis organs... so no inflammation? I also had frequent urination but only for 3-4 days in March and May as well. Symptoms were gone in April for some reason, I was on penicillin at the time. My penis has also appeared to be a little more veiny, but that has especially gone down as I de-stress.

I've tried thinking of this as a mindbody issue but I'm just wanting to really make sure. I think that's about it for what I've experienced this year.

Just some additional info I forgot to mention: I've had heaviness in my chest very often the past 6 months,  and I've been very fatigued most days and don't sleep very well and have a very stiff left knee and stiff jaw joints.... no real muscle aches but these things also made me think GHSV1 as I'm exhausted most days. I was also constipated for several months and wasn't passing gas often, however as I de-stress I notice I can defecate and pass gas easier. So maybe it IS stress but I felt it important to list everything just to get the best opinion. I went on penicillin for e. faecalis in March and May, it was from a urethral awab culture (NOT urine culture, that was negative in may) and I also had something called prevotella loescheii in May in addition to e. faecalis so I was on penicillin and flagyl for both but symptoms never really went away on them. Things were gone all of April after my last pencillin at the end of March but then came back in the beginning of May when I seemed to get stressed. Anyway sorry for all the text just thought I'd list what I could. Thank you!

The symptoms that you describe really don't sound like genital HSV 1 to me.  HSV 1 doesn't cause frequent urination nor does it cause the penis skin to look different.  It also doesn't cause
a cold or raw feeling on the head, and sometimes a feeling like the foreskin is being retracted nor a wet spot feeling on the penis.  Nor does it cause pain after ejaculation or an ache in the pelvis.  It also doesn't cause dribbling after urinating nor a feeling like the testicle is moving with certain breathes.  people who have herpes can feel some tingling in the genitals primarily before an outbreak but you've reported no outbreaks.  You may wish to have one of your mouth sores swab tested to see if they are caused by herpes or not.  Without a lesion somewhere, we just can't know where your infection is located.  One episode of receiving oral sex is highly unlikely to result in an HSV 1 infection genitally
