Dear doctor i had a oral encounter two months back ... Both give an recieve ... Post that after two week i had white and off white blisters in my mouth they are painfull and are still there... I have consulted two doc in there matter both have diff opinion.. A dermatologist told me that they are common blister... And had given me an oral cream for that and one doc told me that they are fordyce granules and they are normal anot not suppse to be treated ... I had anixiety problem during that time and had a very dry mouth for almost a week which he says is the reason they got visible.. So i am not sure who diagnosis is correct.. Futher i had got a test done for hiv p 24 and hiv antigen at 3,4,5 week efla all negative.. And rapid test on 5,6,7,8,9 week all negative .. Dr ewh said i dont need to worry about hiv an results are conclusive... I had also got STD panel test done where c - trachomatsis dna pcr method non reactive, hpv dna detector  pcr- non detected, hsv-1 and hsv-2 dna real time pcr- non detective...than i got a blood test done herpes simples virus 1 + 2 igg serum ( clia) value is >30... Can such high values be possible... And all these two months no lessions near my genetical area or on my face... Except the one i am mouth whose diagnosis i am not so sure about.. .. So i am a bit confused what shouldni do and how should i get the current diagonisis

for the normal IgG that we would use in the US, a value of >30 would definitely be positive, indicating established infection with both HSV 1 and 2.  Are you living inside or outside of the US?  In order to help you best, is it possible for you to get the lab report and post the ranges of normal for this test?   It could be that the lab was doing such a different test than ours here in the US that >30 has an entirely different meaning so I hesitate to do any interpretation of those results without knowing the normal ranges for the test that you had done.

The reference ranges are <0.90 non reactive, 0.90-1.10 equivocal,>1.10  Reactive and i am from india... Plus do u think this positive is from the current thing i had or i could have had thos earlier itself

Wow, that was quick.  Good job.  The ranges are identical to the test that we use in the US.  So this means that you are infected with both HSV 1 and 2.   How long after the encounter did you do this test?

If you had had an index value of >30 two weeks after the encounter, I would have said that it is most certainly an old infection - there would not have been enough time passed to have made that level of antibody.  However, since it was two months, I cannot say for certain.  However, I will say that since the encounter was only oral it is quite unlikely but not impossible that you acquired HSV1 and/or HSV 2 at the encounter.
