[Question #828] Std risk brief oral contact
102 months ago
|
I went to a strip club and got a lap dance. For some reason the stripper wanted to apply a condom. Before I could stop her, she had pulled my penis partially out of my track pants and bent down to apply it using her mouth to roll it onto my penis. I stopped her within about one or two seconds. She made contact for one or two seconds either on the condom or in the worst case scenario, contacted her mouth with the tip of my bare penis for two or three seconds.
Am I at risk for HIV or any STD's from this encounters? Do I need testing?
Thank you.

Welcome to the forum. Thanks for your question. However, before I begin, I see that over the past several months, there have been 5 or 6 questions from username John, and most of them (I don't have time to scan them all) concern zero risk exposures, as this one does. It's obviously a common name, and maybe not the same person. But if you are the same person, I would encourage you to educate yourself about real STD risks; re-read your other threads; and try to desist from asking questions with obvious answers that will not change. And if you're not the same person, please accept my apology.
Here is the main information you need to know to protect yourself from STDs: they require a penis inside a vagina, rectum, or mouth. That's all. And STDs are rarely if ever transmitted by saliva, and rarely if ever by brief, transient oral contact of the type you describe here -- if there was any contact at all. You are not at risk for HIV or any other STD and do not need testing. If you have a regular sexual relationship, you can safely continue unprotected sex with your partner without worry.
