After having sex with a condom, about 3 week later noticed six blisters on my pelvis they were in a line and not clustered I scratched them and they game off. . I went to my doctor but by the time a got to him, they were just red spot and healing. They doctor told me that he didn’t think they were herpes. About after a week another one meaning just one should up on my scrotum. I scratched it off too and went back to the doc who said again he didn’t think it was herpes and he said he would be shocked if it was. Just not sure what else it could be ? Also just to make you aware I was on antiviral during this time due to cold sores. Any clue?

Also they were painless. Also just to clarify I was on the antiviral at the time they appeared.

On more clarification I was only on the antiviral a couple of days when they showed up and more than a week with the second appearance.

One more thing I stated 3 weeks after it was actually a month more than 30 days

It's too bad that you scratched them off as they would have been testable if they were intact. I am assuming you are male and if your partners are female, condoms reduce transmission of herpes from females to males by about 60-65%. It's difficult to say what they might have been but if they were truly water blister, then herpes is on the list of things it could be. If they ever come up again, please don't do anything to them and go right in and have a swab test done of the blisters.
This could also be something like a staph infection but to figure all of that out, swab tests would be required- either viral or bacterial swabs. Did the doctor that you saw do any swabbing at all?
The Valtrex may have confused the clinical picture here, making a new case of herpes much milder, if that's what it could be.
Have you ever had any herpes antibody testing at all?

I was taking antivirals because I was getting cold sores quite often. I’ve had them since I was a kid but they started becoming more frequently recently . I’m 50 years old. I guess I have to wait and see if they come back to get tested?

Would a staff infection just go away?

No swab was done Because he really didn’t think it was herpes. No I’ve never had an antibody test. But since I already have HV one on my lip wouldn’t that not come up positive anyway?

Usually, staph infections don't just go away but those can cause a blister that sort of slides off the skin rather than breaking up like a herpes lesion would, which I why I thought that was a possibility.
Yes, an antibody test for you would be positive for HSV 1 due to your cold sores, but I think you would be looking more for HSV 2 in your situation.
So in your situation, if you take antivirals for your cold sores daily, the medicine would both reduce the symptoms of a new genital infection AND they would prevent antibody development for HSV 2, if you did contract that, for quite a while.
When you say your water blisters were in a line on your pelvis, can you be a bit more specific about where on your pelvis they were? That might help me to provide you with a bit more information. I'm going to leave this thread open for one more response from you about the location of the blisters.

They were about an inch and a half below me belly button down to the hair line of my pubic area. Then a week later I had one on my scrotum. I stop taking the antiviral just to see what happens. My doctor was just adamant that he didn’t think it was herpes when he saw the marks, even the on on my scrotum. Would I get another out break a week after having one? Thanks for your help.

Also I wasn’t taking the antibiotic regularly until after the outbreak when I got another cold sore I was off for two days before I got the first outbreak

I sure wish I could say something more definitive here, as I know that is what you want and need. But I just can't
The pubic hair location, however, is not suggestive of a new herpes infection at all. The scrotum one is more concerning.
So my advice to you is to get an IgG test for HSV 2 (often 1 and 2 come together) and see what it shows, about 12 weeks after the sexual contact that is concerning. With the IGG , you could even do it a bit sooner. If negative then, it seems quite unlikely to me that your symptoms are related to HSV 2 infection.
