[Question #8304] Boil

Hello doctors,
I have a question about my past exposures.
I had the following lapse in judgement as mentioned before.
Massage nude reverse where the female's genitals came into contact with my penis.I once had protected Oral. NO Vaginal or anal intercorse.
Prior to the oral being protected her saliva was on my penis but did not enter her mouth unprotected.
My wife now noticed a slight boil near her buttcrack. We have never had anal intercourse. I am wondering if i could have put her at risk. I have been getting counselling for my lapse in judgement but I want to know if i could have passed anything to her. I have not had any herpes boils or outbreaks and I was under the impression which i could be wrong that this was a low to no risk but i could very well be wrong here.
The boil she just noticed today and ihave none on me so i was a bit alarmed and confused.
Thnx

Welcome to the forum and thanks for your question. I’ll be glad to come it. I’m also pleased to hear that you are receiving counseling regarding your previous misstep. I suspect that that will do much to help your concerns and anxiety.
You don’t mention how long ago the missteps you describe occurred, not that I think it is of importance. The encounter that you described was a virtually no risk event for acquisition of any STI including lesion diseases such as genital herpes or syphilis (which I suspect may be things that you are concerned about). Further, the lesion that you described on your wife’s buttock sounds like a typical boil or pimple of the sort that occurs with surprising regularity in that area. Your own lack of sexuall contact with the area also reduces any already minuscule possibility that this is an STI. Nothing about the exposure you describe, nor your wife’s lesion in anyway suggests an STI. I see no reason for concern and no reason for testing of any sort.
I hope this assessment is helpful to you. If any part of my response is unclear or if there are further questions, please don’t hesitate to use your updates to follow ups for clarification. EWH

Thank you Doctor
About 1 to 2 months ago was the lapse. I was mainly worried about the herpes not knowing there could be syphilis possibly?

Thank you for the additional information. The lesion you describe sounds nothing whatsoever like herpes or syphilis and, as mentioned above, your risk for both of those STI’s is virtually zero. Please don’t worry. EWH ---
