[Question #8335] Herpes 1/2 risk from protected oral

Hey doc,
I recently asked a question regarding hpv. But now after doing some research on the internet. I’ve learned that my “early detection” herpes test (igm and igg) was basically useless. It did come back negative on both. But I was tested after 5 days. They assured me the test would be accurate. But now I know probably not. The exposure was protected oral sex from a sex worker. She applied the condom using her mouth and the exposure lasted about 5 min at most. I’ve had no symptoms approximately 5 weeks later. I’m immensely guilty about this encounter as I’m in a monogamous relationship.
1) In your opinion what are the chances I have asymptotmatic herpes.
2) when I got back negative results I assumed sex with my partner was safe. She has had no symptoms either after 3 or 4 unprotected sexual interactions with me. Does this mean herpes is unlikely?
3) should I test again? And if so how soon can I test?
Thank you so much for your help.

I would like to add
4) I was tested for syphillis at 10 days after this encounter. It came back negative. I’ve had no symptoms. Should I test again.
5) I see where you’ve said it can only be transmitted through open sores/lesions. I’ve found conflicting information on the internet. What do you think?

I don't know anything about your sexual history except what you entered here, so I can't say if you have HSV 1 or 2 or both or neither, but I can tell you that THIS experience that you describe presents almost no risk at all of acquiring HSV>
2)

Too early to tell, but see the answer to #1
3) should I test again? And if so how soon can I test?
I don't recommend that you test again, no.
4) the encounter is close to zero risk for syphilis as well, no need to retest.
4) herpes can be transmitted with and without symptoms.

6)My question about the transmission through open sores was in relation to syphillis.
7)Also I received a HIV RNA test at 15 days. It was negative. Is this enough time for my negative result to be conclusive.
8) Would my negative results for gonorea and chlamidya at 9 days be conclusive, even if I was over hydrated or didn’t use the first part of my urine stream. (First catch)

9) was there any validity in my herpes test 1 and 2 (igg and igm) at 5 days
10) I’ve went ahead and got test done for herpes and syphillis again at 5 weeks and 6 days (almost 6 weeks) would these be accurate.
Thank you for your help and patience

I don't think I understand the question. Are you asking if the sores are syphilis?
7)Also I received a HIV RNA test at 15 days. It was negative. Is this enough time for my negative result to be conclusive.
Not technically, but if your only encounter was receiving protected oral sex, this is not a risk for HIV or syphilis or herpes or any other STI.
8)
Would my negative results for gonorea and chlamidya at 9 days be
conclusive, even if I was over hydrated or didn’t use the first part of
my urine stream. (First catch)
Yes,
9) was there any validity in my herpes test 1 and 2 (igg and igm) at 5 days
Given your no risk experience, as I understand your experience to be, it simply tells you that you weren't infected with HSV 2, with 92% certainty, prior to this encounter.
10)
I’ve went ahead and got test done for herpes and syphillis again at 5
weeks and 6 days (almost 6 weeks) would these be accurate.
The herpes test would be likely accurate because it was accurate the first time -same with the syphilis test.
I know you feel guilty about this experience, but don't let your guilt blind you to logic and the facts here that receiving oral sex while wearing a condom is a no risk experience.
