Hello Drs.
Thank you for having this site and I hope everyone safe from this CV19. I have two maybe one I’m not sure or if l’m just feeling guilty.
About 3 months ago my buddies took me out for my Bachelor party and they took me to a massage place. I guess when I got there I was directed to the room and waited for the lady to come and massage me. I guess what they got me was a handjob massage which the lady stated ONLY so no sex was involved. I was told to lay on my back while she start. She course started back massage and towards my upper back shoulders she would do these small pokes (Im guessing her fingernails) nothing major deep for about 10 seconds then went on to giving me the handjob.
I guess with guilt trip I got scared to thinking did she poke me with a needle? I did get a small cold about a month later during my Hawaii Trip which I got a rash on my upper chest which looks like
Sunrash——After reading google (which i think i should stay of off) am i in trouble? Im not a drug user so maybe from a Dr view if someone were to use a needle would it need to be deep in my skin or feel deep pain? Would this make me need to take any test from the handjob as well?
Thank you Drs

Welcome to our forum and thanks for your questions. I’ll be glad to comment and hope that my comments will help to alleviate your worries. The exposure you describe was a no risk of it. No STI’s including HIV are transmitted in the process of massage or masturbation. This is true even when participants get genital secretions on each other, still no risk. Further, I would not be the least bit worried that your masseuse pricked or injected you in your back during your massage. There’s no reason to do this and had it happened in a meaningful way, I would’ve expected the needle sticks to draw blood. I suspect you are having a bit of a guilty conscience.
I see absolutely no reason for concern regarding the event you describe and no reason for testing. EWH

Thank You Dr
I didn’t think much or forgot I would probably be bleeding with a few wounds and would've probably see it on the white sheet when I got up. I guess with the guilty side got my self to not having sex with my wife. Thank you for your reassurance Dr.

Hello Dr,
One last reply as I know this is the Final 3rd submission. I guess Im letting some anxiety get to me. I went and I got the Oralquick Swab home test (with covid around, I rarely go out) and to date this happen was Aug 16 and today test Nov 15—-I guess 90-91 days? Woke up and took the test to see a solid red line across the C only at 22min mark or negative. Can I:
1) trust the result to ease my anxiety-I know from reading on the page-is this test good?
2) I did get a cold after my wedding approx. 6 weeks later. A few of my friend did get sick after, maybe from a kid at the party who wasnt feeling well. I know reading from forum post testing triumphs symptoms?
Thank you Dr for the replies. I will ease off my anxiety and also stay off google.

Straight to your follow ups:
1. Yes, believe the results. They basically confirm/verify what I said above.
2. Correct. Symptoms are nonspecific, tests are not. Believe the test.
End of thread. Take care. EWH
