To recap previous discussion:  9 days ago I received an unprotected blowjob from a  white female here in Texas who I found on rubratings.com.  Approximately 6-7 hours before the encounter I shaved my penis.  Immediately following the blowjob I wiped my genitals with a warm rag of soap and water. I then rubbed hand sanitizer all over my penis including my urethra.

Both Dr.  Hook and Dr.  Handsfield assured me this was a ZERO RISK encounter for HIV that was no cause for testing or concern.  However, in the past day or so I have had a slight, very mild sore throat, nasal congestion, and a tender lymph node in my neck.  Does this change your previous assessment?  I am worried.  Thank you

So you agree with their previous assessment given  the information I just provided?

  1. As you can see from Terri’s additional response, all of us on the forum are unanimous that the exposure you describe was a no risk event.  It is cold and flu season and Covid rates are rising rapidlyc. Any of these is a far more logical explanation for your current symptoms than the nonexistent possibility that she required HIV from the exposure you’ve described.  Nasal congestion is not a symptom of recently acquired HIV and one persons experience symptoms from recently acquired HIV these symptoms are characterized by a high fever, a severe sore throat, and widespread muscle or joint aches. Please do your best to control your anxiety. If you cannot do that yourself, I urge you to consider seeking counseling to help you move forward.  EWH

I must also warned you that repetitive, anxiety driven questions may be deleted from the forum without a response and without return of your posting fee. You are not at risk for HIV. Really! EWH ---

Thank you for responding. Last question: on day 4 after the event, I noticed a tiny red bump on the shaft of my penis. It ended up turning into a white head and was gone completely by day 8. Chances this was a syphilis?

Virtually none.  This in no way suggest Syphilis. EWH---
