[Question #8485] Syphilis Chancre?

This is related to the ongoing saga regarding the blowjob I received 17 days ago from a white female I found on rubratings.com here in Texas. This encounter has given me intense anxiety, mostly from guilt I presume.
As I mentioned in a previous post, four days after the encounter I noticed a very small red spot way down on the shaft of my penis. It was definitely less than a centimeter wide and had no hard, raised, or defined edge. It looked more like a rub burn or irritation possibly caused by the shaving I did prior to the encounter. I had also done quite a bit of anxiety driven masturbation in the couple of days following the encounter as well. It freaked me out. So I quit messing with my penis and by day 8 or 9 the spot had basically gone away. On day 15 I noticed the spot was red again, maybe re-irritation from hot showers or masturbation? Now on day 17 it is back to normal. I feel like I have gotten spots like this on my penis over the course of my life where there are places getting rubbed or irritated for some reason or another but this encounter from 17 days ago has me noticing and worrying about everything. What are the chances that this is a syphilis chancre?

As discussed previously, you had a near zero risk exposure for any and all STDs. Your description does not suggest a syphilitic chancre or any other STI. Beyond that, I will not try to guess at the cause. Anything that comes and goes like this probably is not an abnormal condition at all. But if you remain concerned, get health care in person. If you would like to be further reassured about syphilis, feel free to get a blood test in a few days, or at 6 weeks for a conclusive result.
And please stop asking your threads to be deleted. It's very frustrating when a user asks additional questions and the moderator cannot review the previous discussion, which also helps us provide the best advice. In addition, one of the main purposes of the forum is education of users other than those who ask questions. Thanks.

Thank you for the response. I think my two previous posts, both concerning this same encounter, are still up.
If you were in my position, would you get a syphilis test? Or are you just saying that I can if it will help ease my mind?

Your second statement says it exactly right: no need for testing based on strict medical or risk probability, but anxious persons often are best reassured by negative test results. If you test, I would suggest a syphilis blood test 6 weeks after the event (or, if you like, 4 weeks after the first red spot you noticed). Or as discussed above, see a physician for a likely reassuring in-person assessment. Stay relaxed in the meantime; it is unlikely you have syphilis or any other STI from the encounter described.
Thanks for your explanation of your deleted questions. But in our experience, even distant past discussions about other events often are very helpful in our understanding of the situation and frequently influence our advice for the latest concern.

As far as STIs I'm really only worried about HIV and syphilis (for obvious reasons). All three of you have assured me that this was a zero risk encounter with regards to HIV and that syphilis is not a concern either, barring an obvious chancre on my penis. I am going to TRY not to run and get tested because I want to be able to take advice from experts whose advice I seek. Not to continue to give into the anxiety so to speak. Anyway, thanks again for the advice. Always appreciated

OK, good plan. Thanks for the thanks.
That concludes this thread, which should be your last, in view of the forum policy against repeated questions. Thanks for your understanding. Best wishes and stay safe.
