Can you get herpes from receiving a handjob at a massage parlour?

Someone told me ‘if its not painful its not herpes’ is this true. I have had some spots on my pubic area for about 6 weeks now they are dying down but i have been worried. I have not had sexual intercourse for 3 years but did receive a hand job. The spots came a month after this

No, you would not get herpes from someone masturbating you ar a massage parlour.

And for the record, herpes lesions would never last weeks.

Thanks so these spots which have been around for about 7 weeks you dont think are herpes? Even if the masseur touched someone else who had herpes then touched my genitals 10 minutes later? Would herpes be very painful?

So with herpes lesions they would completely clear and not be there for 7 weeks? My spots are clearing but they aren’t completely gone they are more marks now.

If the spots have been around for 7 weeks, no, I don't believe they are related to herpes. Herpes lesions are normally but not always, at least tender. Sometimes, people of color, will notice the absence of color where a lesion was, but other than that, most herpes lesions leave no marks on the penis weeks later, no. Plus you didn't get herpes from a handjob.
