This will be my last post. I am a male age 49. I recently posted but things are getting progressively worse I am completely lost. Please consider the following;
Two risks:
Fingering gal with healing finger cut Nov 28 2021
Fingering gal with finger cut / scrape on finger from scratching on Jan 19 2022 (girl from ivory coast no longer speaking to me) I think date is proper.
Because of sinus infection: took the following meds:
Jan 3rd doxy 100 mg twice a day for 10 days. Wasnt getting better given ceftinir 300 mg twice a day for 7 days.
On Jan 18 I had to take 4 caps of amoxicillin 500 mg for dental work.
My sinus issues continued so I was given prednisone 20 mg on Jan 13 (i believe its correct date) for 10 days (3 pills day one, 2 pills for 5 days and one pill a day for 5 days.
I tested for Hiv on Feb 2 (66 days first risk) (14 days 2nd risk) with alere fingerprick 4th gen test
I tested for Hiv on Feb 10 (74 days first risk) (22 days 2nd risk) with alere fingerprick 4th gen test
I tested for Hiv on Feb 16 (80 days first risk) (28 days 2nd risk) with alere fingerprick 4th gen test and neg hep c
I tested for Hiv TODAY (88 days first risk) (36 days 2nd risk) with alere fingerprick 4th gen test
All negative
My problem is I got confirmed thrush one lesion on Feb 8, 21 and Today after my HIV negative test (one lesion same place)
1. Do I need more tests or different tests?
2. Why the thrush, I havnt been on meds in weeks?
3. I continue to worry that the steroids delayed my tests from becoming positive. Especially for hiv-2. (girl2 was from ivory coast) Should I?
4. I already slept with my regular partner last week. Can I continue to do so safely?

Dr.
Thank you for considering this question. I am just frozen with fear. I am very worried I will hurt my regular partner.

Two weeks ago in your interaction with Dr. Handsfield he warned you that repetitive, anxiety driven questions would be deleted without a response. I will not be addressing your questions. Instead I recommend that you review your earlier interactions with Dr. Handsfield where all of the questions you ask above have been answered.
My only recommendation for you is that you seek professional counseling and help in moving forward with your difficult to control anxiety related to these no risk events.
