Good Day, back in late October 2021, I had sex with CSW - Shemale Escort. I only perform Oral sex (No Condom). Escort put a condom on me and I had anal sex for 2-3 minutes. Then it was over. Late November, my balls started to itch on and on. Not every day perhaps once - twice a week. When I took a shower, it felt better. It continue to February but started to itch more. I thought it was Jock itch. I bought over the counter medication. It helps but will not go away. My balls look red but mostly itchy. I believe the redness comes because Itch it. I have a small rash under my belly too. I started researching what it could be and HIV Rash came up. It stated 4-6 weeks and that is about the time I got the rash. Now, I am nervous about. I had protected sex. Maybe I am pyrenoid but I had to ask this question and get some thoughts on this. Thank you

Welcome to our forum. Thanks for your question. I’ll be glad to comment. Several parts of your question are unclear to me. On one hand you state that you only performed oral sex on your partner without a condom but then you also state that you participated as the insertive partner in condom protective anal intercourse. Perhaps you meant that the only unprotected exposure you had was the performance of oral sex. If your exposures were as I have describe them then your risk for HIV is very, very low since you do not know that your partner had HIV and since you were only unprotected exposure was performing oral sex.
In addition while this episode occurred more than four months ago, you do not mention testing for HIV. While I am about to tell you that is described this was a very low risk encounter, if you have questions or concerns you should get an HIV test.
As for the rash you describe, intermittent irritation and redness of the scrotum is not suggestive of HIV. In fact, it is most suggestive of a fungal skin infection. The fact that you have treated yourself with an over-the-counter medication for fungal infection without relief does not mean that this is not a fungal infection. Over-the-counter medication‘s do not work all the time.
To summarize, as I understand your description, this was a low risk encounter in terms of risk for HIV. Further the symptoms that you described are not suggestive of HIV. My advice to you is to go on and get tested for HIV if you have not already done that to prove that you were not infected. In addition you may want to see a physician regarding the rash on your scrotum.
I hope this information is helpful. EWH
