[Question #8754] New Risks - Full Checkup Tomorrow
40 months ago

Hello again, this is regarding all risks I've had. I have a lab scheduled tomorrow for full checkup. Doc included full std checkup and since he put HIV as part of tests I'm freaking out. My risks have been the one time w/ csw as said in this forum, 4 protected w/ college girls, and unprotected w/ current gf. The wait for the results is gonna be brutal. Questions:
1. What is my risk for HIV given all of my exposures?
2. Since I only tested w/ Oraquick at home saliva test 3 months after csw exposure, is that reliable for that exposure? This forum has said those are your least favorite tests so thats why I'm still worried about that first exposure. I have never tested for HIV w/ the blood tests since I didnt want to wait for the results.
3. Is petechiae a few weeks after exposure indicative of HIV? To this day I still see those red blood spots in my palms and feet. I read low platelets (not sure if this is the cause) is a sign of HIV and that anyone that has that needs HIV testing.
4. Can I expect negative results for HIV?
5. Can herpes cause false positive for test?
6. Are canker sore/mouth ulcers a sign of HIV?
