[Question #8846] Herpes Transmission

I've been trying to determine whether herpes transmission is possible in these situations and was hoping you could help.
1. While having a sore on my lip, I was eating a hard crumbly bar and some of it fell from my mouth onto the floor. Could herpes have been transmitted to a person that stepped on it with an opening on their foot immediately or within a few seconds after?
2. In a similar instance to the first, I was eating from a chicken leg while having a sore, and a person picked it up within a few seconds after I was eating from it, and threw it away. Could herpes have been transmitted if this person had an opening on their finger?
3. If, after using the restroom of my home, some of my urine was on the floor near the toilet, and a person with an opening on their foot stepped on it immediately after, could herpes have been transmitted? I was not having pain while urinating, but I want you to assume that I did have a sore or spot on my penis at the time.

Absolutely not!

Again, absolutely not!

Herpes is not transmitted in these ways. It is transmitted through kissing or giving oral sex, if the infection is oral, or through genital to genital contact if the infection is genital. it is not transmitted at all through the kinds of experiences that you describe.
