[Question #8879] Questions about Risk-Follow up

I have some questions: and brief summary
On day 6 after unprotected vaginal and oral, I developed a rash in the shaft of the penis after a GP on day 5 saw me and said there was nothing to worry about and gave me a preventive shot for gono/claim
Day 7 GP at said it was irritating but and said did not know
Day 9 GP at std clinic said it was not herpes
Day 12 urologist took a culture and said it did not look like herpes
Day 13 rash was gone and only looked red and really have to zoom in
Day 30 showed my urologist the pictures, and he said it did not look like herpes and said that my penis did not have any scarring
Day 44 Showed pictures to other urologist and said it could be a friction burn and saw me and said no herpes scarring
Questions: I took a 4-week specific igg and a mixed 1,2 igg at six weeks, and both have been negative. Values of the mixed where <.5 and cutoff is at .9
1. Do you think it could be herpes? I did also oral sex to her and did not develop anything on my mouth either.
2. Could an atypical herpes break present itself as a rash and then leaves new skin like two pink spots( they could have been there all my life, too) with no fever or swollen lymph nodes throughout?
3. Would you have expected a positive result by six weeks?
4. I scheduled a test for 7 and 10 weeks, one in the USA and my final one in Germany both igg? Do you think this is necessary?
5. Could a balanitis present a just reddening?
6. How accurate is a 4 week test for an HIv fourth Generation, Syphilis and Gono and Chlam
7. Even if it’s a mild outbreak, could herpes still be recognized? What is a mild outbreak? 4 doctors saw me at day 5,7,9,12 after my exposure
8. What should i do?
I appreciate any help you can provide and this will be my last post regarding this incident.
thank you.

Welcome back -- but I don't think I can add anything that is likely to be effective in reassuring you. Obviously you are obsessed with herpes despite overwhelming evidence you do not have it -- which has been related to you by my colleagues Dr. Hook and Ms. Warren, and by your own doctors.
---
In reviewing your other threads, herpes never was a serious consideration for your symptoms, in my opinion. You had minor balanitis (inflammation of the head of the penis), either "nonspecific" or perhaps due to a superficial fungal infection. Absolutely iw twas not herpes, and you should cease any and all efforts at testing or other evaluation for herpes. Here are the final responses you will have on this forum:
1. Do you think it could be herpes? I did also oral sex to her and did not develop anything on my mouth either. No, I do not.
2. Could an atypical herpes break present itself as a rash and then leaves new skin like two pink spots( they could have been there all my life, too) with no fever or swollen lymph nodes throughout? No, this is exceedingly unlikely.
3. Would you have expected a positive result by six weeks? Most people with new herpes have positive IgG test results by 6 weeks, so your negative result should be reassuring. Combining this with all the other evidence, you should suck it up and move without worry about herpes.
4. I scheduled a test for 7 and 10 weeks, one in the USA and my final one in Germany both igg? Do you think this is necessary? No, I think you should not be having any further tests for herpes.
5. Could a balanitis present a just reddening? Yes. That's what balanitis usually does; or scatted red spots, as you described in at least one of your other questions. And as Dr. Hook told you, the large majority of genital skin rashes are not herpes or other STDs. (I have a book titled Genital Dermatology Atlas, filled with pictures and discussions of genital skin problems. Of its roughly 300 pages, only 15 cover all STDs; and herpes only 3 of those pages.)
6. How accurate is a 4 week test for an HIv fourth Generation, Syphilis and Gono and Chlam HIV 98%. Syphilis probably ~90%. Gonorrhea and chlamydia (urine or urethral swab test) 100%.
7. Even if it’s a mild outbreak, could herpes still be recognized? What is a mild outbreak? 4 doctors saw me at day 5,7,9,12 after my exposure *Sigh* You are grasping at straws, and it's as if you are hoping we will confirm herpes. We aren't going to do that. Please note that we have not given you just one or two reasons you don't have herpes, but several.
8. What should i do? Forget herpes and move on without giving it another thought.
I appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you; I hope these comments help you move along. this will be my last post regarding this incident. Yes, it will. Repeated anxiety driven questions are not permitted (almost never helpful to the questioner, and certainly not to other users looking for education, one of the forum's main purposes). Future ones along these lines will be subject to deletion without reply. Thank you for your understanding.
