[Question #8903] Herpes on lip?

Morning,
Thank you for taking the time to review my question. I have a question concerning oral herpes and an outbreak.
Last night I felt some tingling on my lip and still feel it today. I went to look last night and it is a little hard to describe. It was a small single bump that almost looked like a small pimple. I squeezed it assuming it was such and some oil came out.
Today the same, but a small amount of blood came out. I haven’t had an exposure to anyone knew in a long time and have never noticed a herpes outbreak prior. However, I did see an escort a few weeks back and had a protected vaginal exposure but no kissing.
I’m curious, could a herpes outbreak present itself on my lip without direct exposure to the area. Does this sound like a herpes lesion?

A herpes outbreak could appear on your lip, yes, but not due to a new infection if this area was not exposed. If you have ever in your life had a cold sore on your lip, this could conceptually be a recurrence, but it sounds like you've never had this before.
Herpes lesions are generally water blister-type lesions, did it look like that?
