[Question #8905] HSV 2 or Friction Burn?

Hello Doctors:
Back again with a scare. Please excuse the detail but I think it’s important.
At 2am on June 9th I had unprotected sex with a new partner. She has been regularly tested for all stds with negative results, from the United States and always been in monogamous relationships (less than 5 partners in her life). I do not think she’s ever been tested for hsv1 or 2. If she is a carrier, then she’s unaware. We started having protected vaginal sex but then halfway through we removed the condom. There was also oral sex.
Last night I remember checking my penis while urinating and noticed zero abnormalities. No pain, lesions or anything. Very early this morning (maybe 5am) I had unprotected vaginal sex again with the same partner. It was quite rough (per her preference) and it included oral sex in which I masterbated pretty vigorously from the foreskin area to the tip of my penis. We were both pretty drunk so I don’t remember if I scraped myself in the process. Later in the morning, maybe 10am, I woke up hungover with a pain on the top of my penis. When I checked it, there was a small painful lesion that looked like skin had been removed or rubbed off. No fluid or blistering. It is quite painful to the touch. Now, at 5pm, a dark scab is starting to form over the irritated area. My urination is normal. Not painful.
I am wondering if this could be hsv-2 that is showing symptoms from the encounter 2 days prior. I had ghsv-1 several years ago. Not recurring. Those lesions started as small white fluid filled blisters, eventually burst, became painful to the touch and finally scabbed over. I also had very painful urination, which I don’t have now.
How possible is it that I could have no noticeable lesion at midnight last night, but by 10am developed a lesion caused by herpes? I am trying to tell myself that this is likely friction burn from the rough sex and masterbation, but I would be curious to hear your thoughts.
Thanks again for your service.

I should clarify when I say foreskin.. I am circumcised. When I describe the intense masterbation, I was stroking hard for maybe 30-45 seconds from the incision line of my circumcision to the tip of my penis head. The lesion (that has now fully scabbed over by 9pm) is essentially on the circumcision line at the spot where I was masterbating.
