Hi doctor
Regarding the exposure I had 8 months ago
Which was unprotected oral sex
Should I worry about hepatitis b or c?
One of my liver enzymes (ALT) is slightly elevated and bilirubin is also slightly elevated. Red blood cells is also very slightly elevated but white blood cells are normal

Thank you

Cholesterol is also a little high, not sure if it could be the cause of this elevation

Welcome back, but it really was unnecessary. Hepatitis B and C are not transmitted by oral sex. (Hepatitis C isn't even an STD, except in men who have sex with men and participate in potentially traumatic anal sex.) And of course there are plenty of causes of mildly abnormal liver tests other than hepatitis. And neither hepatitis nor any STI causes red or white blood cell abnormalities or elevated cholesterol.

You need to move beyond the sexual exposures that you are so anxious about. The wart you had was not from any of those events, and you have absolutely no infection of any kind from them. You need to stop worrying they somehow explain every twitch, tingle, or medical condition now in the future. In addition, repeated anxiety-driven questions are not permitted on the forum:  they have no educational value for other users, one of the forum's main goals, and repeated answers often just prolong the questioner's anxiety rather than relieving it. So this will have to be your last concerning the oral sex events you have described; any more will be deleted without reply, and without reimbursement of the posting fee.

Thank you for your understanding. I do hope this and the other discussions have been helpful to you. Best wishes.

Thank you doctor Hunter. I am totally aware that my anxiety is starting to be a problem and I am working on it. You and dcotor’s Hook answers were more than helpful. Thank you again

I'm glad to have helped.

Threads are closed after 4 weeks or two follow-up exchanges, whichever comes first. But it sounds like we're probably done; I'll close this one if no clarifying comments in the next few days. Best wishes and stay safe.

The only thing I would still ask about is how could I have gotten this wart, if I have never had vaginal or Anal sex in my life? I know it is strange. I guess there is still part of it there and I might ask another dermatologist, because that gives me hope it might not be wart at all

Common warts (non sexually transmitted) can occur anywhere on the body; not often in the genital area, but not impossible. And as you say, maybe it isn't a wart. All things considered, this should be a very minor issue for you. It isn't likely to affect your sexual functioning, partnerships, or future in any important way. Try to look at it as a minor inconvenience, not a serious threat of any kind.

Please note the forum policy against repeated questions on the same topic, especially when anxiety driven. Excessive ones are subject to being deleted without reply, and without refund of the posting fee. This being your sixth, it will have to be your last about your wart, liver, or other aspects discussed over the last 9 months. Thank you for your understanding. Best wishes and stay safe.
