[Question #8914] Handjobs

|
Do handjobs pose any risk of getting any stds? Like herpes and hpv and hiv. I have been receiving handjobs. Are there any stds that I need to worry about?
Has there been anyone that has gotten a STD from a handjob. Another concern I had mammory intercourse aka breast sex where the male puts his penis between the womens breasts does this pose any std risk?
Sorry I know it’s one question but my anxiety is killing me and I need to know if I need to get tested

Welcome to our Forum and thanks for your questions. I'll be glad to provide information. Masturbation (hand jobs, fingering, body rubbing) are all considered safe sex with no risk for HIV or other STIs. This is true even when in the course of masturbation a partner's genital secretions get on you- still safe sex. This is also true even if you have scratches, cuts or open sores on your hands- still no risk. The only exception to this is that there is a MINISCULE risk for acquisition of herpes infection on your finger if your partner has an active genital herpes lesion at the time they are being masturbated however this is extraordinarily rare and not something to worry about. Your risk of getting a herpes lesion on your finger in this way is lower than your risk for being struck by lightening. It is not something I would worry about.
I hope this information is helpful and reassuring. Please don't worry about STI risks associated with masturbation. EWH

So I don’t need to worry about about getting stds from a handjob? What if it’s from a sex worker does that change anything? I have read a lot of information on the internet and I don’t know if it’s true.

Correct. It does not matter who might be doing the masturbation, including commercial sex workers. EWH---

As this my last follow up per the policy. Why is it that handjobs can’t transmit stds? What if the person had a cut on their hand? Or genitalia secretions of another person on their hand! Do I not need to test for stds if I strictly just got a handjob from a sex worker?

You are a follow-up questions are repetitive. I will answer briefly.
There are a number of reasons why STI & AIDS transmitted through masturbation. Some include that the skin surface of the genitalia varies from site to site. Further, STI’s are caused by fragile microorganisms which become non-infectious over contact to the environment.
Vast experience shows that the presence of cuts and scratches are not equivalent to injection of infectious material into tissue and for that reason do not make persons susceptible to infection.
There is no need for STI testing if your only exposure is receipt of masturbation. Even from a commercial sex worker. Please don’t worry about risk of STIs from participating in masturbation

Thank you doctor I understood everything you said and sorry for being repetitive. One last thing what did you mean when you said this I understood everything but this. Did you make an error in your working. This what you said quote by quote. “ There are a number of reasons why STI & AIDS transmitted through masturbation. Some include that the skin surface of the genitalia varies from site to site.” need more explanation on this if you don’t mind. Did you mean to say there are a number of reasons why sti & aids can’t be transmitted though masturbation? Or am I missing something here
