[Question #8981] Anal fingering with saliva and oral sex with a condom

Hello,
I was fingered anally with a lot of saliva for about 2 minutes and also have the guy a blow job with a condom. Could I have contracted any stds like herpes, hiv, hpv, syphillis, gonorrea or chlamydia ? Do I need to test ? Would him having a cut on his finger increase the chances of an std ?

Also he also masturbated himself before fingering me. Does this increase the risk for hsv2?

Please don't worry about these events. This was a zero risk exposure. I think there's a typo in your question: you "gave the guy" a BJ, right? Or course that was no risk; no bacteria or virus can be transmitted through an intact condom. Fingering is always zero risk for practical purposes, even if genital fluids or saliva are used for lubrication. Saliva is toxic to most or all STI bacteria and viruses. (There is some controversy about gonorrhea being transmitted by saliva, but most experts agree there is little or no risk.) As for a "cut" on someone's finger, it would have little if any effect. If you think about it, there must have been billions of fingering events in the presence of finger wounds etc, and still there have been no reported cases of HIV or other STIs being transmitted. I recommend against being tested for anything.
I hope these comments are helpful. Let me know if anything isn't clear.

I didn't see your follow-up question before I replied. The answer is no: his masturbation did not increase your chance of catching HSV2 or anything else.---

See the main paragraph in my reply above. I haven't changed my mind in the last hour!
That completes the two follow-up exchanges include with each question and so ends this thread. I hope the discussion has been helpful. Best wishes and stay safe, as you obviously have been doing so far. You need not ask again about any sexual events that do not involve penetration of a penis into a partner's body. Without penetration you can safely assume there is no significant HIV/STI risk.
