Dear Drs,

I went to a massage parlour and had an handjob without any penetrative exercises. She only gave a handjob without any other sexual activities. I was wondering if I should be worried about hiv risk ? Or get tested based on this scenario.

Welcome back, but sorry you found it necessary. Some questions can be answered based on the title chosen from the question. That is the case here: handjobs do not transmit HIV. Also I looked at your two threads a few years ago and this exact question was answered there. Here is part of my reply both those times: "With no penile penetration, there was no risk of HIV.... Penis contact with skin -- anywhere on the body...is risk free...[including] hand-genital contact."

That advice remains valid and accurate. You definitely do not need testing. Let me know if anything isn't clear.
