[Question #9181] Possible STD from oral

I visited a massage parlor.  Expecting a HJ at most, the girl began to preform what felt like oral on me, possibly just licking without penis entering her mouth.  On the flip, she started a BJ with a condom.  Since that day I have been panicked.  I self medicating the next day with Cipro 500mg I had from awhile ago.  Still feeling paranoid a teledoc prescribed Suprax 400mg, Azithro, and Flagly.  All antibiotics have been taken, but I still do not feel right.  No burning with urination, no odd discharge, no bumps or rash.  There was some clear mucus at the end of urination early on, but that is gone.  Just itching and discomfort throughout the day.

Welcome to the Forum and thanks for your question.  I'll be glad to comment.  If I understand your post, the exposure you described was a virtually no risk event.  Few commercial sex workers/masseuses have STIs, even when they do, oral infections are poorly transmitted through oral sex and the use of a condom makes the event a n risk event.  Further the combination of antibiotics you took would have cured/prevents gonorrhea, chlamydia, NGU, syphilis and trichomoniasis.  Sometimes when persons have had sexual encounters which they regret,  hyper-awareness results in noticing otherwise normal sensations which would otherwise be overlooked.  I suspect this is what is going on related to your unanticipated encounter.

I hope this perspective helps.  If you wish to test, I am confident that your tests will be negative (additionally, PLEASE DO NOT test for herpes with a blood test.  HSV blood tests are notoriously inaccurate with frequent falsely positive results).  EWH

Thank you, yes there is a ton of mental regret… hoping this is psychosomatic.   Lots of frightening info available on the web and it is all very vague.
My first concern after the incident was clear mucus after urination… this did occur about an hour after masturbation…. Was looking for pain on ejaculation which I believe to be a symptom.  I am not understanding if that is a discharge from STD or just my old body not “clearing the tubes” quickly.  Again, discharge any other time.
The pain I am experiencing is just at the tip sporadically… another thing I do not get a clear understanding from via the web is would pain be constant or not?
Thank you for helping me understand.

I answered both of these question on my earlier response.

IF your discharge of discomfort were intermittent, they would not go away and would not be intermittent  EWH

Thank you Dr.  So I can finish out this thread with better clarification….
1) Symptoms of male STD would not be intermittent throughout the day?
2) Suprax 400 with azithro and doxy should have effectively cured me?
3) No discharge or burning would suggest it is not Gonorrhea in a male?

Think that is it, just wish the slight penial discomfort and want to urinate would dissipate.

Thank you!

As you know, we provide up to three responses to each clients questions. These responses will be my third and therefore the thread will be closed soon after my reply is posted:

1,  Correct, the symptoms of STI’s tend to be present continuously or in some cases get worse overtime. They are not intermittent
2.  In the unlikely circumstance that you require an STI the antibiotics you took would have cured and prevented gonorrhea, chlamydia, NGU, Syphilis, and trichomoniasis.
3.  Correct

This completes this thread. I hope the information I provided will help you to move forward without continuing concert. Take care. EWH
