[Question #9197] I need advice.

I have timelines based on my recent endeavor.

Apr 7 12:00 pm – encounter with only bare grinding while he’s flaccid for 30 seconds
Apr 7 3:00 pm – dehydration and headache with sore muscles on butt, legs, and feet.
Apr 8 to 9: feeling better after ibuprofen
April 10 4:00am – feeling sore down there
April 10 7:11 am – 4 blisters
April 11 1:00pm – burst and crusted
April 11 3:00pm – get checked at doctors and swabbed, comes back bv and yeast.

I had no swollen lymph nodes which were checked, I got these bump again 3 months later so I got tested but they only offer igm which was positive but my swabs again were negative, I regrettably didn’t shower due to depression leading the lesions to crust and scab. The next time I got the bumps, I applied hydrocortisone and treated my yeast infection. It just healed together and didn’t do more. I’ve had constant yeasty discharge for 6 months, so I had my partner be tested and he was negative. So I’m at a lost, I can’t afford the western blot since I tested 5 times, my blood is positive but my swabs are saying no hsv. I can note I’ve had shingles recurring whole body. Since my diagnosis, I constantly feel predome symptoms that go away. My nurse says she doesn’t believe it’s herpes visually since they’re never on a red base, nor do they hurt or cause me pain while urinating and that my primary wouldn’t heal in 5 days with no medication. So I’m refused medicine, even with lemonaid. Does this sound herpetic? Hydrocortisone helps with the ulcers and it’s said if herpes itd make it worse.

The IgM test is unreliable and should not be used.  The Mayo Clinic stopped using it in 2019 and the two large labs in the US, Quest and LabCorp, will stop using it in 2022 due to many false positive results.  So please don't count on that.  I'm wondering if you are not in the US as all labs here will do the IgG test instead of the IgM test.
I would strongly suggest that you not apply cortisone cream but if the bumps appear again, get them swabbed right away, hopefully within the first day of their appearance.
have you had other sexual exposures in your lifetime, other than the one involving grinding that you posted here?
I'm curious about your post saying that you've had shingles recurring over your whole body.  Generally speaking, shingles does not recur - only about 4% of people who get shingles once get it again and it is not a full body experience.  Shingles is limited to one area of the body and it is almost always on one side of the body only, not crossing the middle of a line down the middle of your body to the other side (there are a few exceptions to that) but it is not all over the body.  I'm not sure what you had going on there.

Yes before this encounter I was in a relationship and he was negative after testing 4 months from our last sexual encounter and again 8 months later since he was always scared of std/stis. This grinding the only instance where I could have caught anything, yes when I say shingles I mean it comes on one side of my body but my side of my stomach. I’ve gotten my lesions swabbed numerous times, with one instance they even burst it then swabbed the contents. I’ve gotten paps as well, it’s not coming back as herpes but as bacterial. He has tested negative so I’m not understanding what’s happening, I do live in the US but my clinic is in a very small town so they don’t typically have the same resources. I don’t feel the pain that people mention with the sores especially with my first time. It only appears on my posterior fourchette after wearing tight underwear and is having discharge. I’ve tried every single trigger in an attempt to try to confirm if it’ll come back but nothing happens, but once I stopped showering (I know, gross.) they came back.

How close is the largest city to you that might have a Quest or LabCorp facility?  This test can be ordered online but you might have to drive to get your blood drawn, but wouldn't that be worth it?
Are you saying that you've had multiple swabs for shingles and herpes and nothing comes back positive?

I can try to find out, unfortunately with this diagnosis it has led to me being recluse so Im afraid of going in public in fears I’ll infect someone by sitting in the same area, I came here as a last resort to have some sense of normalcy. And yes, I mean swabbed for hsv. My results are negative yet I keep getting these little bumps that sometimes bleed and disappear in days then repeat. It’s constant thick discharge for months, the only time I feel relief is with monistat. The clinic before I moved had igg tests which were negative, my partner is 63, which I’m 21. He claims to never had any symptoms, before grinding on him I saw no lesions on him whatsoever. The only thing I can remember was I used some icy hot lube that I was allergic to which led to some vulva burning afterwards. I gave unprotected oral for years with no issues, we were protected except this one time for 30 seconds. I feel devastated, I don’t think I could deal with one more positive since one led to me going from outgoing and bubbly to a shell of a person just waiting to go.

Herpes is a sexually transmitted infection.  is it not spread through routine living or by people sitting in the same area as you - not at all, never.
I'm glad to hear your IgG test that you had done is negative.  I think you should trust those results!  The lesions that you describe sound absolutely nothing like herpes to me.
The chance that you would get HSV 2 by grinding on someone for 30 seconds is so remote as to be close to never happening.  especially since he was asymptomatic.
This is clearly causing you great distress and I think you have some big misunderstandings about herpes and how it is transmitted.  I would be happy to have an online consultation with you if you wish - appointments at westoverheights.com.  Let's get you back to your former self.
