[Question #9263] Can Ivermectin effect HIV result

Hi there ive a simple question that hopefully you can help me with. Can Ivermectin effect the test result of hiv? I Googled & it said that :...
'Ivermectin is a specific inhibitor of importin α/β-mediated nuclear import able to inhibit replication of HIV-1 and dengue virus'... It went on to say that it was a powerful anti virus type drug that can effect hiv in some type of way.
My problem is i haven't been well at all & i am still not since August the 15th with a litany of horrible symptoms including pain that comes & goes all over my body especially in the joints, tiredness, zero appetite ( loat over 14 pounds) ive been to my local Dr & got non sti blood tests done also which he can't see any issues on my tests accept for there appears to of been a recent infection of some kind going by the raised infection makers. I got tested for hiv & other stis at 2 weeks post exposure & 43 days which both were negative. As i was in such bad condition with symptoms i took a few ivermectin tablets here & there but not very many at all prior to testing as i was i thought they could possibly have effected my hiv results so i made sure not to take any for a number of days before the test thinking the ivermectin would be out of my system. But now reading thee above has concerned me that this odd ivermectin tablet here & there may have affected my test results in some way could this be true? The test was a 4th generation hiv test done at two weeks & 43 days which were both negative.. I would greatly appreciate some advice on this matter as my local dr can't find anything wrong with me on other blood tests apart from a recent raised infection marker. Thank you.

*Sigh*
From Dr. Hook's last reply in your previous repetetive, anxiety driven question: "The questions and the answers have become repetetive no further question on this topic will be accepted. Should you post again your question may be deleted without a response and without return of your posting fee." The slight change in topic to ask about interference of testing by ivermectin IS all part of the same issues you have already raised, and you have been repeatedly told that you do not have HIV from the exposure described and that your test results are conclusive. They PROVE your symptoms are not due to HIV.
There are NO medications, medical conditions, or health problems that interfere in any way with the timing and reliability of HIV test results, including ivermectin. (Except for HIV drugs themselves, which if taken after exposure but fail to prevent infection, can delay the time to positive HIV test results.) You clearly are the victim of over-searching the web. Like many anxious persons, you obviously are being drawn to statements that reinforce your fears and missing the equally frequent points that would reassure you. I strongly suggest you lay off the internet entirely about HIV risks, transmission, and prevention.
Really, do your best to mellow out. Go back and re-read ALL the replies you have had, EVERY WORD. Then crack a beer, go to a mirror, look yourself in the eye, tell yourself "You do not have HIV!" three or four times, then drink the beer. And believe it. If you still remain fearful, it suggests an underlying mental health issue that would benefit from professional counseling. It is not normal to remain so worried after all the reasoned, science based reassurance you have had. (And to repeat myself: stop searching online for irrelevant statements like the one you quote in this question.
