Hi doctors sorry I forgot to mention and update 2 things.
Since the post on 9306
My itching sensation went into a slight burning feel yesterday on the border between my inner thigh near and my scrotum. Still no lesions. A bit of burn on my inner thigh as well.
One thing I forgot to mention was the massuse did Kiss my inner thighs for 8 to 9 seconds. Not my penis.
1)Could this itching/ burning feeling be from the kissing from syphilis or herpes.
2)I applied an over the counter cream for jock itch and today I feel much better. I don't feel the burn as much. Would the OTC cream treat any herpes or syphilis rash.
3) if the cream works can I assume it was a jock itch. I'm not an athlete which is why based on what I'm reading athletes tend to get them.
Thank you in advance

Just wanted to say the area that burned has heavily subsided after applying a Clotrimazole 1% cream yesterday night. Which I presume is good thing.

Welcome back to the Forum. Thanks for the additional information. It does not change my assessment however. More below following your specific questions:
1)Could this itching/ burning feeling be from the kissing from syphilis or herpes.
No. Kissing is not a risk, other than for herpes and if you are even susceptible to infection from oral herpes (about half of American adults have already had HSV-1/cold sores although many are unaware of this fact) and as we've discussed, if this were HSV there would be easily detected lesions present.
2)I applied an over the counter cream for jock itch and today I feel much better. I don't feel the burn as much. Would the OTC cream treat any herpes or syphilis rash.
No, an OTC cream would not impact syphilis. That your symptoms have improved somewhat is consistent with a fungal groin infection and your own heightened awareness.
3) if the cream works can I assume it was a jock itch. I'm not an athlete which is why based on what I'm reading athletes tend to get them.
Jock itch is a general term. You do not need to b an athlete to get a fungal infection in the groin. The local moisture and fact that there are skin folds in the area favor development of fungal infection at this site.
Assessment- still virtually no risk, no need for testing, no need for concern, either for yourself or your partner. I hope these comments are helpful. EWH

Thank you Doc.
one last thing - i noticed on this forum burning scrotum by itself is not an STI symptom. is that accurate?
I only have the burning scrotum feeling left. do you know how long approx OTC creams take to begin working on the jock itch. i already feel my inner thighs no longer an issue rather just my scrotum giving a slight burning feeling. I noticed jock itches dont land on scrotums often but they do occur.
thank you and this will end my forum questions.

Correct. A burning scrotum is not an STI symptom. The most common cause is superficial, non-STI fungal infections. I would anticipate that the OTC anti-fungal creams would help as well.
Glad I could help. Please don't worry. This completes this thread. EWH
