[Question #9360] Scrotum Licking
|
Hello Experts,
5 Days ago I received a hand job at a massage parlor. During the hand job, she got overzealous and started licking my scrotum (ball sack). We never engaged in vaginal intercourse nor she give me a blow job. All she did was give me a hand job while occasionally licking my scrotum and maybe the base of my shaft (next to the scrotum)
I just want to make sure I am safe and have nothing to worry about concerning catching any sort of STI and or Herpes.
Should I be concerned to the point of being tested or am I safe to move past this episode and continue to engage in unprotected sex with my wife?
I feel like I should be okay but I just thought it would be prudent to run this past you first.
Thank you in advance for your time.

Welcome to the Forum. Thanks for your questions. I'll be glad to comment. As long as your masseuse did not have active sores on or in her mouth, receipt of masturbation and having your scrotum licked are virtually no risk events. which do not require testing. As long as you remain asymptomatic, I see no reason for concern or for testing of any sort. I would have no concerns about this encounter if I were you and would not let it worry me. EWH---

Thank You Dr.
I guess just by reasonable assumptions the masseuse would not even perform that act had she known she had active sores on or in her mouth.
Thank you putting my mind at ease. I will take your advice and not let it worry me.

Hello Dr,
Just a quick follow up. It's been 10 days now since my exposure. I noticed last night that I think it burns when a pee and then I feel the burning for a few minutes after. Given the nature of my encounter does this even make sense?
Or Am I falling victim to the close self examination and heightened awareness due to anxiety/guilt over the exposure event?
The burning is not very severe. I just notice it is there. I don't see any sort of discharge. I know the mind is a powerful thing and that this can all be in my head but I thought it might put me at ease just to double check with you.
Thank you for your time.

The encounter you described would not be expected to lead to burning on urination. Penetration is needed to cause the infections that cause burning. My sense is that your anxiety is causing you to notice normal sensations you would otherwise ignore. I really would not worry.
