[Question #9374] Risk of contracting HPV after a handjob and briefly touching myself

2 days ago, I had an encounter with a woman with unknown sexual history around my age (26) via a dating app. We cuddled for a while and then I eventually started rubbing the outside of her vagina (vulva/surrounding area) with my fingers (alternating between the 2 hands) for about 30 minutes. She did not touch her vagina at all during the entire time. There was some wetness on my fingers after I was done masturbating her. 90% of the time, my fingers were rubbing her above her panties and only occasionally slipping underneath them.
She eventually started rubbing my penis and then took it out of my pants and started masturbating me. I briefly touched my scrotum for a few seconds to adjust myself with my hand. She continued masturbating me for a good 10-15 minutes before ejaculation. Afterwards, she left and I washed my hands with soap and warm water.
What is the risk that I would contract HPV from this encounter?

Welcome to our Forum and thanks for your questions. I’ll be glad to comment. This was a very low risk encounter. Masturbation is considered safe sex and STIs are not typically transmitted through transfer of genital secretions on a person’s hands and fingers, even if genital secretions are present. I would not worry in the least.
In addition, your partner was of an age when she should have been vaccinated ( as should you). This would nearly eliminate any risk for even theoretical risk for HPV.
I see no reason for concern or testing of any sort. Hope this addresses your questions. If not, you have up to three follow-ups.
