Hello doctor,
I went to strip club with my friends and took one lap dance with dancer.
I was fully clothed and she had her bottom clothes' on.
After two weeks of that incident i am having fever slightly high(up to 102) and some cough with little mucus.
My questions/worries are below.

1. Though I read on the web it does say getting lap dance with clothing is safer but still mind not accepting. Is there any possibility I got it transmitted?

2.Touching the dancer breast with hand will transmit anything ? i did not suck her nipples or anything.

3.I had a sex with my spose once after that once, now i am freeking out i might have given something to her.. Will you please provide some more information on this? will it spread within a week from me?

4. Do you think this Fever and cough indicate the ARS ? Should i get tested now? i am so scared to go.

appreciate your service and help

Thanks

Welcome to the Forum and thanks for your questions.  I'll be glad to comment.  The encounter you describe was a safe, no-risk event for HIV and other STIs.  Most lap dancers/commercial sex workers do not have HIV.  Even in the unlikely circumstance that she did, HIV is transmitted only through penetrative sexual contact or injection of infected material deep into tissue.  It is not transmitted by casual contact, kissing, or through clothing.  This, in response to your specific questions:

1. Though I read on the web it does say getting lap dance with clothing is safer but still mind not accepting. Is there any possibility I got it transmitted?
No, this was a no risk event

2.Touching the dancer breast with hand will transmit anything ? i did not suck her nipples or anything.
No, HIV is not transmitted by touching.  Even if you had sucked on her nipples, the exposure would still be no risk.

3.I had a sex with my spose once after that once, now i am freeking out i might have given something to her.. Will you please provide some more information on this? will it spread within a week from me?
There is no risk to your spouse from your sex after the encounter you described- not for HIV, not for other STIs.

4. Do you think this Fever and cough indicate the ARS ? Should i get tested now? i am so scared to go.
Cough is not part of the ARS.  These symptoms are more compatible with other upper respiratory tract infections such as the flu or other viral infections.

Bottom line, from your description I can see nothing to worry about and no medical or scientific reason for testing of any sort.  I hope this information is helpful.  EWH
