[Question #9471] is followup testing required ?

Hello doctors .  I had another thread recently closed , where i received a couple of false positives on oraquick which led me into a complete state of panic. I have some follow ups here .
  1. I tested on questhealth Ag Ab test with blood from the vein at 44 days. Is this conclusive ? Do i need to do followup testing again at 12 weeks ?  This is the only 4th gen test that i did.
      1. Link below. I assume this is 4th gen.
        1. https://www.questhealth.com/product/hiv-1-2-test-with-confirmation-91431.html
  1. As I mentioned i was in a state of panic. and i was not joking. for nearly 2 weeks , i was not in a mind space to really take care of my personal hygiene . ( new clothes , daily shower , new socks etc).  and I did heavy walking to calm myself most days 6+ miles . i seem to develop a rash on my feet ( tiny raised bumps on my feet) at about day 45-50.  They have been quite localized (only on feet) but have spread a tiny little (1 or 2 pimples) onto my thighs , arms and chest. I am applying fungal creame (athletes foot creame in cvs) and bacterial creame since yesterday.
  2. After the 4th gen test , i got my mental space back again. and started strict personal hygiene. the rash seems to be contained , it is not spreading wildly . although some itching remains.
  3. I did a followup with oraquick at 8 weeks again. is this process okay/correct ?
      1. Method followed. Brushed teeth thoroughly.
      2. waited 55 minutes . no water . no food. only mouth saliva. even after 55 minutes , i could still feel the breath/taste of my tooth paste a tiny little bit (which i thought is better than food. because i had a couple of positive incidents in the last thread where i tested after having food .).
      3. The result came negative.
  4. I am having ocassional loose stools especially when i eat boiled salad bowls . i am visiting the loo as soon as 30 mins after i eat when i eat salad like foods.  Also , i do intermittent fasting. so I eat after 16-20 hours daily. Recently started this. it helps clean my body and keeps me fit. Is it possible the sudden intake of food after these many hours can trigger something. I dont know . Can this be hiv. I do want to think so .
  1. Do i need additional followup testing  with all this ?
  2. can i trust the quest health lab test at 44 days. or do i need to double confirm this with another 4th gen test with another lab.
  3. do i need to do additional testing for other STIs ?

I have also developed a tiny sore on my tongue the day after some spicy food. It stayed for a day . Mostly painless. and is gone now. all these is after day 45. otherwise my mouth feels okay. No painful sores that are persistent.

Welcome back although I worry that you continue to have trouble moving forward.  In your final reply as part of your last thread you nicely pointed out some of the limitations if the OraQuick.  It is now time to accept that you were the victim of a false positive test and move forward- you've done enough testing.

1.  Yes, the test is a 4th generation test.  It proves that you do not have HIV.
2. I cannot make a diagnosis of your rash- you should see your doctor if it is troubling you.  What I can tell you however is that you do not have HIV and therefore this rash is NOT HIV.
3.  Please stop testing with OraQuick.  Believe your conclusive 4th generation test
4. No, this is not HIV.  It may be related to your change in dietary habits or anxiety but it NOT hIV.
5.  Your 44 day results are conclusive.  Please believe them and put this episode behind you
6.  No
