Dear doctors,

I had a relationship before with an escort unknown status. I used a condom that i took it from her, then she sucked my dick until i ejaculate out of her mouth. I waited for 20 days then go to a major governmental hospital in my country then i choose to donate with my blood just for checkup and i asked the bank to just screen it without use it on patients, then results came back with negative for all tests specially NAT, then i wait until complete the 41 days and after that i took a 4th generation hiv test in a lab then the results came back negative. Now I experienced a cold symptoms.

My questions:

1-is my test's conclusive?
2-do i need another tests ?
3-is this symptoms related to HIV ?

Welcome back to the forum. However, I'm surprised you found it necessary. This is your third question in 4 months asking about exactly the same kind of exposure:  HIV risk from oral sex. As Dr. Hook said in response to your two previous questions, oral sex is little or no risk for HIV, even without a condom (your first question) and truly zero with a condom (second question). And based on the timing, it seems that this time you're asking about the same exposure as in your second question just a month ago. Of course the reply hasn't changed.

1,2. You did not need HIV testing after this event, and certainly did not need NAAT as well as 4th generation test. (I understand the tests were done because you donated blood, but I have to suspect you donated in order to be tested -- right?) Anyway, even if you had been at risk, the combination of negative NAAT at 20 days plus negative AgAb (4th generation) testing at 6 weeks is conclusive and no additional testing is needed.

3. HIV doesn't cause "cold symptoms" (no stuffy nose or cough, for example). And it is impossible to have HIV symptoms with negative blood tests.

I hope this information helps you move along with no further worries. But please be advised that we strongly discourage repeated questions. This should be your last one about oral sex and HIV risk and testing afterward. OK? Let me know if anything isn't clear.

Correct; also no risk of HIV even without a condom. These are the main points of our replies in all three of your forum questions. Let's make this the last time you ask about it, OK?---
