Hello
Sorry for coming back .
On Jan 28 I had a massage with underwear on . A sheet was over me during the massage and I refused handjob. There was also a sheet under me and my lips were touching the sheet . They were bleeding a little since they were dry at the time. I did not notice blood on the sheets from previous customers .   Couple days later I found out I had bruises on back of both knees . I have a bleeding disorder maybe because of too much pressure caused the bruising . I don’t have any other symptoms expect sometimes itching and dry throat . I tested yesterday using Insti antibody but came back negative .
Now my wife developed flu like symptoms yesterday like fever sore throat and headache . Could this be related or a coincident or common cold?
I am confident I did not catch HIV since there was no penetration at all.
Should I do more testing. I confident this is a zero risk.
Thanks

Welcome to our form. Thanks for your questions. Unfortunately you appear to have used a different username to post this question so I have no way to refer to your previous interactions with us on the forum.

HIV is transmitted only through direct, penetrative sexual contact or injection of Infectious material directly into tissue. Received a massage is a no risk event. HIV and other STI & HIV are not transmitted through contact with contaminated sheets or bread products. The encounter you describe was a no risk event with no need for concern, and certainly no scientific for medical reasons for testing.

I hope this information is helpful. Please don’t worry. EWH

Thanks for the reply .
Do you mean bed products instead of bread products .
Also I understand that this is a no risk event for Sti including Hiv despite the bruising and the bleeding lips touching the contaminated sheets during the massage .
Also the coincidental symptoms that my wife is experiencing (fever, cough, sore throat and apparently feeling dizzy) is not related to my event?
Lastly , does  Von willebrand disease have any eFfect on Insti results. Apparently on their cover it says this test is not for people with bleeding disorder . I don’t know why.
Thanks

My apologies for the typographical error. It should’ve said bed products, I. Eat. Sheets, towels, and bed linen.

Yes, I would assume that your wife’s current symptoms are coincidental.

There is no reason to think that your von Willebrand’s would affect the accuracy of your test results.

Your symptoms sound like you caught whatever it is that your wife I said. Please don’t worry. EWH

My wife symptoms have developed to
Sore throat
Fever
Runny nose
Headache
Ear pain
Fatigue
Cough
She’s breastfeeding my son and he is on the verge of becoming ill . Idk what’s going on .
For me I’m having headache sore throat and a bit of nausea and feeling feverish
Is this still in no way related to HIV right ?
Thanks

None of this information changes my assessment. Your exposure was still ain’t no risk event. It is far more likely that your wife symptoms represent a common, every day community acquired. Viral infection. Please don’t worry. EWH.---
